Tammie O’Brien, recently returned from Las Vegas with what she deems more valuable than anything won on the casino floor. Tammie, developer of Darby Inventory, an inventory management system, came home with the Product of The Year award from the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) Conference recently held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Darby Inventory was created when Tammie’s Home Staging and Furniture Leasing Company, Pineapple Interiors, needed a way to track their growing inventory. “We researched several inventory management systems and even purchased one, only to find out that they all fell short of what we were after, with the typical cost of these systems in the thousands of dollars.” With that, Darby Inventory was created, incorporating every feature she could come up with to make inventory tracking easy and effective. After two years of design, development and daily usage of the product at Pineapple Interiors, Tammie began marketing Darby Inventory to other Home Stagers across the country.

Invited to speak at the RESA conference in Las Vegas, Tammie was delighted at the overwhelming response of Home Stagers to her product. “Winning Product of the Year was the icing on the cake. We wanted to create a product that would help Home Stagers become more efficient in their business, was easy to use and is something that every small business can afford. The response we received at RESA told us we were right on track.”
